SMUG is a free, community-led run and walk group that meets every Wednesday and Friday at 8:00am at Swalwell Visitor Centre (NE16 3BW).
We welcome all abilities and paces, including walkers, runners, and well-behaved dogs. Whether you’re just starting out or a regular runner, everyone is encouraged to join.
Our route is simple: 15 minutes out and 15 minutes back, ensuring nobody is left behind and everyone finishes together.
There’s also the option to enjoy a coffee nearby afterwards and catch up with the group.
