Legal Change Log
Every published version of every DashPoint legal document, newest first. Superseded versions remain readable in the archive.
- Adds Google Analytics 4 to the analytics category, naming Google as a recipient.
- Describes what GA4 receives, that it is measurement rather than advertising, and that advertising signals stay off unless marketing consent is given separately.
- Records that DashPoint's two consent categories are mapped onto Google's consent signals, so analytics consent alone never enables ad personalisation.
- Adds a Marketing category, separate from Analytics, for the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.
- Removes the statement that we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which the Meta Pixel makes untrue.
- Describes what the pixel sends to Meta, that Meta uses it for its own purposes as well as ours, and that this involves a transfer to the United States.
- Records that we cannot see app installs from the website, only that someone chose to go to an app store.
- Re-asks everyone: a choice made under v2 was made before any advertising tracker existed on the site.
- Names the actual non-essential trackers for the first time: LogRocket session replay, Apollo.io visitor identification, and first-party page-event beacons.
- Removes the statement that analytics information is collected anonymously, which did not match what those trackers do.
- Adds a table of what is stored, by category, with purpose and duration.
- Describes the categorised banner and the Cookie settings control in the footer, replacing v1's instruction to clear browser storage.
- Records that a choice is stored against the Cookie Notice version it was given under, and that publishing a materially changed version re-asks everyone.
